Regional fine jewellery designer Donna Hourani unveils her new collection of intricate pieces which pays homage to her grandmother. The sentimental line has been designed around simple, domestic items she uncovered as a child while going through her grandmother’s drawers. Hourani’s grandmother, a talented seamstress holds a special place in the designer’s heart, and this enduring love is translated into a collection of thoughtfully designed objet d’art named Jaroor el Teta. The collection features objects such as bobby pins, cotton buds and safety pins all ingeniously sculpted into precious pieces of jewellery.
