The Met Gala carpet once again delivered a visual feast, but beyond the sharp tailoring, it was a collection of peculiar accessories that commanded attention, injecting personality and playfulness into the rather straightforward ensembles. And what were most popular? Hats.

Adorning both men and women, headwear took on a myriad of forms on this year's blue carpet. From Doja Cat's furry creation to the understated structure of Mona Patel's choice, hats proved to be the ultimate statement piece.
