Introducing Wellness Wednesdays - MOJEH's social-first series spotlighting influential voices from the region that are redefining what it truly means to live well

From fitness and nutrition to mental health, recovery and beyond, MOJEH delves into the full spectrum of wellness - a holistic pursuit of good health in every form. In our debut episode of Wellness Wednesdays, wellness expert and consultant Linda Chambers Cochrane shares her take on the region's evolving fitness culture, her personal training ethos, and the one myth she wants women to stop believing.

What’s your top fitness tip for women who are always on the go?

First thing in the morning, if you can, go for a ten-minute walk. Just ten minutes. If you can’t go for a walk, ten squats, ten push-ups, ten lunges -  just do that three times.

Do you have a phrase you live by within the world of wellness?

Everything in moderation!

What is one wellness myth you wish people would stop believing?

That lifting weights makes you bulky! I can’t stress this enough: lifting weights is imperative for you to live longer. It will not make you bulky unless you are on a bulking programme, so please, female, male, any age, make sure you are strength training so that you will have a longer life.
