Where To Celebrate Emirati Women’s Day In The UAE

Emirati Women's Day, how to celebrate
From limited-edition desserts to meaningful collaborations, here's how to celebrate Emirati Women's Day

The United Arab Emirates celebrates Emirati Women’s Day annually on 28 August and, this year, the celebrations have been extended for an entire month. Emirati Women’s Day was established by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, in 2015 to honour the achievements, sacrifices and contributions of Emirati women. The date coincides with the founding anniversary of the UAE’s General Women’s Union in 1975 and the theme of Emirati Women’s Day 2026 is “We Emerge Stronger And Better.”

Venues across the UAE are commemorating the occasion with everything from limited-edition offers and complimentary desserts to exhibitions by Emirati artists and spa days. Here, MOJEH rounds-up how you can celebrate Emirati Women’s Day 2026.

Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach

Emirati Women's Day, collaboration

Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is partnering with Emirates Literature Foundation this Emirati Women’s Day, creating a limited-edition dessert inspired by the strength and spirit of Emirati women. Renowned Emirati poet Dr. Afra Atiq and senior executive pastry chef Nicolas Lambert worked closely to intertwine the worlds of literature and culinary art – the mango palette reflects references to harvest and light, its circular form echoes the poem’s repetition, and its three visual elements are reflected in the poem’s Arabic triplets. Cardamom, coffee and Dibba Bay sea salt round-out the references. 28 August to 28 September, Shai Salon. Book now
