The Key Calendar Moments For Paris Fashion Week SS27

Fashion Month's final leg is upon us. Here's what to expect

Fashion month enters its final and most anticipated leg from 28 September to 6 October in Paris. With a schedule of back-to-back shows, the fashion set moves at full speed, running from venue to venue with little to no time in between.

Two seasons on from the debut frenzy that took over Paris Fashion Week, the intrigue around leading creative directors and their storied Houses remains intact. Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel, Jonathan Anderson’s Dior, Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Balenciaga and Michael Rider’s Celine are each presenting their third Spring/Summer collections, showcasing their long-term visions for their respective Maisons. This becomes a pivotal point as a collection that is equal parts the designer and the House is expected, proving to their loyal customers that the reshuffle has paid off.

Established names won’t hold the spotlight alone. Early in the calendar, recent LVMH Prize winner Julie Kegels presents her SS27 collection, while Central Saint Martins graduate Fidan Novruzova makes her Paris runway debut. While the lineup is leaner than last season’s packed schedule of 74 shows and 37 presentations, key debuts still demand attention, including Drew Henry’s first outing for Courrèges and Kai Nesselrath’s debut collection at Carven.

With Spring/Summer always drawing the most industry focus, plus heavy-hitters Valentino, Maison Margiela, Sacai and Christopher Esber making it back to the calendar, the Paris crowd is in for a chaotic yet exciting week. Here are the key shows to watch:
