Paris Couture Week AW26: The Best Beauty Looks

Beauty wasn't an afterthought on the Paris couture runways

Beauty on the Autumn/Winter 2026 couture runways was just as spectacular as the fashion itself. Across Paris, makeup artists pushed boundaries to create looks that complemented each collection, oscillating between theatricality and minimalism. Whether you’re looking to test-drive some of the looks or simply stay ahead of the curve, MOJEH rounds up the beauty highlights from Paris Couture Week AW26.

High-Shine Eyes

Sparkle took many forms on the runway, but the eyelids claimed the spotlight. From Dior’s glittery green eyeliner and Ashi Studio’s gloss-smudged lids to Chanel’s blown-out shimmer, each makeup artist approached shine with a different point of view. While the rest of the face was kept bare to let the fashion take centre stage, the eyes were given full permission to go wild.

The Bolder, The Better

When it comes to extravagance, nothing beats the couture catwalks, where everything adopts a theatricality that would on any other occasion feel out of place. Metallic lips were seen on the runways, adding a sense of otherworldliness to the face. Seen at Rahul Mishra and Alexis Mabille, it was one of the most easily adaptable beauty styles from this year’s runways if you’re feeling adventurous.

Bright Eyed

The practice of sweeping a white eyeliner across the lower waterline is perhaps one of the oldest and most effective illusions in the beauty playbook. Used by makeup artists to widen the eyes and counteract the fatigue of early-morning call times, the technique never gets old. When paired with bare skin and over-the-top silhouettes, the doe-eyed effect adds a touch of nostalgia.

Flick Of The Wrist

A classic wing is sometimes all you need, and at Tamara Ralph, makeup artist James Molloy opted for exactly that. Featuring light-reflective skin, a fresh peach flush and softly diffused lips, the artist kept things fairly simple, save for a sharp wing that tied the entire look together perfectly.

How Long?

Let your eyes, with ample help from your lashes, do the talking. This season, the dramatic lashes seen on the runways of Iris van Herpen and Chanel were particularly noteworthy. Beyond a beauty choice, these deliberate lash extensions played a role in expanding the storytelling of the looks, bringing in a sense of mystery and character.
