5 Extravagant Pieces From Louis Vuitton’s Mythica High Jewellery Collection

With Mythica, Louis Vuitton pushes high jewellery into full narrative scale, where gold, rare stones and technical ambition come together

When Louis Vuitton presents high jewellery, the pieces aren’t something you simply glance at and move on from. Mythica holds attention in a more sustained way – you spend time with it. The construction becomes part of the reading: how the pieces are built, how materials are used and how each chapter shifts in tone. And gradually, appreciation moves into something closer to desire and curiosity.

Built across 11 themes and 110 one-of-a-kind pieces, Mythica follows a heroine’s journey, but the narrative sits behind something more tangible: form, weight, material and structure. Direction is expressed through arrows, protection through emblems, transformation through stone and colour. Nothing feels decorative for the sake of it. Despite the volume, each chapter holds its own identity and the collection remains cohesive. MOJEH explores the stand-out pieces from the collection.

Fortune stands out immediately for sheer material volume. The choker is composed of 25 gold pearls totalling 511.28 carats, formed into a dense, sculptural silhouette that sits close to the neck. The surface shifts between tones of gold, pink and green, interrupted by diamond pavé that adds brilliance without reducing its weight. It is one of the most materially substantial pieces in the collection.

Mesmerism Emerald Necklace

At the centre of Mesmerism sits a 17.18-carat Colombian emerald, one of the collection’s key stones, suspended within an intricate diamond structure that mimics lacework. What makes it extravagant is not decoration, but concentration: thousands of hours of diamond setting built entirely around a single dominant stone.

Spell UV Fluorescent Diamond Necklace

Spell introduces technical extravagance. Fluorescent diamonds remain invisible under normal light, only revealing patterned illumination under UV exposure.

Combined with moonstones, orange-pink topazes and black ceramic detailing, the piece operates in two visual states. This dual-condition construction is exceptionally rare in high jewellery and allows Louis Vuitton to showcase its savoir-faire.

Fortitude Blue Zircon Suite

Fortitude features some of the collection’s most unusual gemstones: large-scale blue zircons, including an 82.14-carat cushion step-cut stone. The use of zircon at this scale is itself unusual in high jewellery, and the setting amplifies it further through complex diamond work, including pieces requiring nearly 2,000 hours of craftsmanship.

Victory closes the collection with real opulence. A laurel-inspired white gold structure is set with 38 coloured diamonds, arranged across a full chromatic gradient. It culminates in a vivid orange-yellow pear-shaped diamond suspended beneath a near four-carat LV Monogram-cut diamond. It is the most resolved and formally complete expression of the entire narrative.
