La Beauté Louis Vuitton has unveiled its first-ever collaboration, joining forces with none other than Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. La Beauté Louis Vuitton is led by Dame Pat McGrath, an industry titan responsible for the House’s runway makeup for more than two decades.
The limited-edition capsule marks the 130th anniversary of the monogram. It extends the codes of the House’s iconic Monogram Dune and Monogram Infrarouge canvases, lifting them from leathergoods and bringing them into the world of La Beauté Louis Vuitton to represent facets of the Louis Vuitton woman. The warm beige of Monogram Dune represents her soft, warmer side; the red-and-black intensity of Monogram Infrarouge channels the fierce heroine.
Both collections include an LV Ombres eyeshadow palette, LV Rouge satin lipstick and LV Baume lip topper. Monogram Dune echoes hues of the desert landscape – sun-warmed nudes, dusty pinks and luminous formulas add softness and wear like a second skin. In contrast, Monogram Infrarouge commands attention with blues, berries and a holographic glitter balm.
