Reversible statement jackets and tweed outerwear also provided a contrast to the collection’s softer moments, such as silky draped tops and delicate lace eveningwear. For those seeking drama, the fur coats made a return in bold scarlet, alongside long-haired coats that presented a nomadic flair.
When it comes to accessories, Isabel Marant’s DNA is linked to the wedge sneaker. However, Bekker introduced a sleek alternative: the wedge loafer. It offered a lift to the collection’s more rebellious looks, such as the leather outerwear and all-black uniforms.
As the show transitioned from the more preppy looks, the mood shifted toward a night-time rotation. Fluid and shimmering fabrics gathered at the hip, and sheer embroidered skirts moved with a liquid grace, ensuring the Marant woman remains the talk of the afterparty long after.
