The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards took place on Monday 14 September in Los Angeles, California to celebrate achievements in television. The ceremony was hosted by Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order SVU; she was the first woman to host the Emmys in over 15 years and ensured the evening was memorable with a series of skits, speeches and several outfit changes. Pared-back hues seemed to be the unofficial dress code for the evening, with Florence Pugh, Sarah Pidgeon and Katherine LaNasa all arriving in pastels. Neutrals were dressed-up with texture and plenty of sequins – The Pitt‘s Sepideh Moafi wore a glittering Georges Hobeika gown, while Zendaya was arguably the best-dressed attendee of the night in a semi-sheer Prada number.
