Geneva Watch Days returned for its 7th edition last week, marking its largest edition to date with over 71 participating brands. The occasion saw the launch of incredible watches, with form and functionality co-existing in the right measures to intrigue the horology enthusiast. Some boasted first-time collaborations, others excelled in technical prowess. Here, MOJEH rounds up the most notable releases from this year’s Geneva Watch Days.
Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Dual Time x Vianney Halter

Giving Bvlgari’s iconic Octo Finissimo movement a vision of his own, independent watchmaker Vianney Halter collaborates for the first time with the Maison to create a timepiece that exists harmoniously between two different horological languages. As is expected of Halter, the watch features industrial dials and four displays in the opaline white synonymous with the watchmaker, while also adapting to Bvlgari’s essence through the line’s geometry and proportional discipline. The collaboration comes in two exclusive versions, both limited editions. The brushed titanium is limited to 30 pieces and the second in satin pink gold is limited to 15 pieces. Learn More
Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Dazzle

The Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Dazzle creates an optical illusion on the Octo Finissimo’s 40mm case through geometric patterns. It tricks the eye as to where the watch’s silhouette begins and ends, allowing for a unique camouflage that is achieved through laser engraving. The bezel remains minimalist to maintain the essence of the iconic Octo collection. Having experimented with several creative collaborations including Emirati painter Mattar Bin Lahej, Bvlgari continues to illustrate its curiosity in presenting timepieces that stop you in your tracks. Czapek The Quai des Bergues “Midnight in Geneva”

Limited to 18 pieces, Czapek’s The Quai des Bergues is the third installment of a line created to celebrate the Maison’s first modern boutique in Geneva in 2019. The latest timepiece from the collection showcases the signature deep blue aventurine glass dial in a new 40.5mm case format, the third size available and released in tandem with the inauguration of the new Quai des Bergues 27 store. The emblematic watch keeps the design elements of its predecessors, including the curved silhouette and sapphire caseback that offers views of the movement. Learn More

It is available in black, white and brown dials, giving one the option to pick a style that suits their specific taste. Zenith’s Chronomaster Solo Sport preserves the El Primero high-frequency identity of the watch that guarantees accuracy and ensures it is a trusted choice for day-to-day wear. Learn More

In celebration of M.A.D.Gallery’s 15th anniversary, Maison Alcée and MB&F presented Nostromo, a novelty clock kit that brings together traditional watchmaking with MB&F’s playful side. The mechanical clock can be assembled by the owner, allowing an immersive experience that showcases the intricacies of creation (and provides bragging rights if completed correctly).
