Stardust
Dreamy and daring, the Yuima Nakaxato runway was all about the shimmer. It worked to emphasise the mood of the collection, giving it character and aligning with the designer’s inspiration – a trip to the ancient forests of Yakushima Island. The glitter placement varied across different looks to accentuate each of the model’s faces, lending them a truly forest fairy aesthetic.

Faux facial piercings may not be the obvious choice for a couture beauty look, but why let that surface area go to waste? Gaurav Gupta didn’t shy away from extravagant silhouettes and, matching that energy was makeup artist Thibaut Marieke. Let your eyes do the talking in bold and vivid colours. Manifesting in the form of bold eyeshadow and coloured lashes, Robert Wun’s catwalk featured models dressed in his signature avant-garde style.
